Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Luckily i have not had any accidents with my 2000 chevy malibu. one of the most common problems with this make and model of vehicle is that the ignition lock cylinder and ignition lock switch malfunctions. this causes the car to not want to start, and while driving, the car will stop in the middle of the road. i personally have been stranded in the middle of intersections because of this problem. this is very unsafe, and very expensive to fix. i took my car into the chevy dealer to have it looked at, and it cost me $553.55 to fix this one problem, and now my lights do not want to work. *nm
