| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: 2003 pacific baja trailer for west white sailboat has a design flaw from 2003 -present. there has been a movement of the fender that protects the boat and the tire from contacting each other. as a result, this trailers tire and boat came in contact with one another. there is a risk for tire blowout. this has not happened to consumer but feels there is a risk. contacted the dealer, who responded that the problem was with the sailboat manufacturer, who made the specs and they only followed them. consumer made corrections himself by removing the existing fenders and installing wider fenders with fender backs to stop this boat and tire rub. this seemed to correct the problem at this time. this baja trailer is manufactured by pacific trailers. model # g17sw3. *ak |
