| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The transmission on my 2002 envoy xlt went out this morning on my way to work. i barely missed having an accident while passing a semi and injuring myself and others. the envoy has 69,000 miles on it and the transmission should have lasted much longer. after exploring some web sites (http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.ef15323) i found that other owners of envoys and trailblazers also experienced transmission failure. an immediate recall should be issued. cost for replacing the transmission is $1,500. we were so thrilled with the envoy and brag about it all the time. we were considering buying a new one next year but we won't if we do not get reimbursed for this transmission repair. signed daniel and diana trabel 812-623-3440 very disappointed envoy owners |
