| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: evenflo c model # 25800406, dom 12/04. the contact stated that on the child's seat the seat belt path comes through under the child's feet and latches into the seat belt buckle. but if barely hitting the brakes then the head of the child would come up. during a crash this could possibly cause whiplash to the child and could be dangerous. contacted evenflo, and they said this was the way the child seat was made. all evenflo child seats belt paths were like this. the belt path needed to come up under the child's head and not at the feet. this would make the child seat more secure. this was an infant child seat. the contact knew someone that had the same type of child seat and they where in an accident and the child did get hurt because of this problem. *ak |
