Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer states that 2000 land rover range rover came out of the park lock function. this happened three times. the consumer was in the vehicle all three times, was able to hit the brake, and put the parking brake on. the consumer turned the vehicle off all three times. the consumer had to put the parking brake on every time that he got out of the vehicle. the consumer called the dealership and asked about a recall. the dealership told the consumer that they were unaware of any recall on land rovers for transmission problems. the dealership did not believe the consumer when he told them about recall 00v377000 listed on the nhtsa website. the consumer has not contacted the manufacturer yet, but was going to do so. the consumer was going to have transmission flushed to correct the problem, but questioned if land rover was going to reimburse him for repair cost. *ak
