Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: When i applied the brakes on my vehicle the steering wheel began to shake and the foot pedal was pulsing and it felt like the brakes were grabbing. i took the vehicle to a local dealership and after the test drive they determined the front rotors were warped. they told me that there was a service bulletin on my truck. they said they replaced the calipers, pads and turned the rotors. they said that this repair would take care of the problem. the calipers sticking was the cause . my truck had approx. 19000 miles when this repair was done. around 35000 miles the same problem began to surface again. i took my truck back to the same dealership that did the repair. they test drove it and determined that the front rotors were warped again. this time i was told that the warranty on the brakes had expired and they would not repair the brakes. i contacted dodge customer assistance and was told the warrany had expired and there was nothing they could do. there is an obvious defect with the braking system on my truck . the brakes should not be wearing in this manner. dodge acknowleged there was a problem when the service bulletin was issued. i feel that if they replaced the parts as they said they did they used the same inferior parts as the original parts. the warranty on the brakes is for 12 months/12000 miles. why is the warranty expired now but it wasn't when my truck had 19000 miles?
