| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The fuel filler hose has cracked on my 1994 ford ranger. the hose is ver hard and brittle and has cracked where it makes a bend into the tank. when i fill the tank a large quantity of gas spils on the ground before the pump kicks out. i was simply goung to replace the hose but ford will not sell me just the hose they want to sell me the entire filler assembly for about $ 300. this is outrages to have to pay this much for a hose that failed due to a poor design. |
