| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: while slowing down the abs brakes do not hold. the vehicle will not stop even if pumping the brakes. this happens when going 10 mph or slower. no abs warning light comes on. the consume r found out that the same vehicle was being recalled in canada for the same problem. dealer asked him about the abs light coming on, and told him to bring vehicle in next week. he contacted the manufacturer and filed a complaint. rotors and pads were replaced 8 months ago. the caller thought the dealer should have checked the abs system when replacing the rotors and pads. he has had only one close call, and was very careful when he driving. the caller stated that t every third time he hit the brakes they failed. *ak |
