| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On 4/27/2005 i replaced the combination switch on my 2000 grand am, because it was making a clicking noise for about 2 weeks, when the turn signal wasn`t on and i noticed some smoke coming from the steering column. a week later i received a recall notice on the switch. gm`s consumer services sent me a form to fill out for a refund. i sumitted the forms and my claim was refused because the recall was performed on 4/26/2004. i checked my records and they did replace the switch 1 year earlier. my concern is that gm was replaceing bad with bad. my service request # 1-348061917. customer relationship manager; krystal keel. |
