| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We purchased a coco "touriva" car seat. the hinge that allows the restraining tray to lower has broken. my child was not hurt. the hinge simply 'popped out' when i was putting him in the seat. i have attached photos of the damaged hinge. the plastic appears to simply have fractured. because of this failure, the car seat is not functional. i suspect that this hinge is weak and could fail in a crash, which would be dangerous. the only identifying information on the car seat was: manufactured in : 22-130-wal 02/14/2004 t03b |
