| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Mishler bmw of beaver dam, wi installed a new pair of metzler me880 tires on my 2000 bmw k1200 lt motorcycle rims on august,5 2005. i installed these rims on august,6 2005 and proceeded to drive appox. five miles. while making a right turn onto a highway the bike started to slide out from underneath me, i put my right leg down in an attempt to support the bike. this resulted in a fracture to my ankle and lower leg. i believe this accident was a direct result of the release agent used to unmold the tires during the manufacturing process still on the tire. *jb |
