| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact owns a 1999 gmc sierra 1500 4wd. he contacted gmc about nhtsa recall 05v379000 concerning abs brakes. consumer' lived in maryland and his was not listed for the recall he almost had an accident last week because of this problem with the wheel speed sensor. he almost ran into trailer because he had the brakes on, and at a certain speed, released them. he had to swerve to keep from hitting the trailer. when he let off of the brake pedal and pressed the brakes again it stopped the vehicle. the estimated speed at the time of this incident was under 10 mph. there where no injuries. *ak |
