Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: after the owner purchased the vehicle on july 2 2005, she received a recall letter on july 9 2005. the recall number was 05v329000. it was about the throttle cable sticking. the owner was upset because at the time of purchase, the dealership did not make her aware of any recalls on the vehicle. the owner believes that if a car has a serious safety problem, the car should not be sold until repaired. this should be a law. cars should not be sold when they have outstanding recalls. the owner is concerned that some people after purchasing the vehicle, would not pay attention to these recall letters that arrive shortly after purchase and they could end up in an accident due to something that should be repaired before the car is sold. *jb
