Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: beginning in july, the consumer had a problem with the brakes during low speed brake applications. when approaching a stop sign, the brakes would grab. the brake pedal would fluctuate. there was a feeling like being on ice. the problem happened about 85-90 percent of the time. the problem became worse with time. the consumer checked on the recall 05v379000. his vehicle identification number was not included according to the dealer. they stated that the owner has the old wheel speed sensors and those were not affected by the recall. the consumer would like to alert nhtsa that his vehicle still has the exact problem listed in the recall. the consumer has not repaired it yet. the consumer has almost rear ended a car due to the abs activation and extended stopping distance. *jb update 1/11/2006 - *nm |
