Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: We are writing to inform you of a problem with the evenflo triumph 5 convertible car seat. we purchased the seat from target in countryside, illinois, in december 2004. we recently attempted to change the seat position from rear-facing to forward-facing. in the process of doing this, we decided to wash the seat cover and discovered that one of the opaque plastic clips that holds the shoulder harness strap in place from inside the seat was missing. upon further inspection, we discovered that it had come loose (or perhaps had always been loose), and was not attached where it should have been attached. this was very alarming to us because it could have significantly affected our daughters safety had we been in a car accident. there would have been no way to know that it was not in place had we not opened up the seat. we have discontinued using the seat and purchased a different one. *jb
