Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 chevy venture wb edition - passenger side front power window fails intermittently. i have had this car to the shop 4 times for the same problem, which they are unable to duplicate. when the problem occurs, the dealership is not open (like on labor day when i was unable to secure my car!). the passenger side switch was replaced on 5/9/05 and vehicle has been in to the dealership (lanna chevrolet in woburn, ma) again in 6/05, 7/05 and 9/05 for the same problem. when the original problem occurred (5/05) the driver's side switch for the passenger side front window failed, but i was able to use the passenger side switch to close the window. on 9/05/05, both switched failed to operate the window to close it. dealership has been less than helpful in getting problem fixed - which should be covered under my extended warranty (60,000 miles). i am, however, now at 58,800 and am being told that there is nothing they can do - but they have failed to actually check the wiring visually as it is 'too much work' and 'who is going to pay them'. *nm |
