Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was dropping my grandmother off at church. i pulled into a parking space. when i went to start the truck, the engine started making noises and i saw and smelled smoke. i opened the hood and i saw the engine shaking went the truck was on. today, ford is recalling 2000 expeditions along with other models due to cruise control problems causing fires under the hood. the truck is a 2001 expedition which has 75,000 miles on it. ford is saying it is not their problem and they are not taking responsibility for this issue. *jb |
