| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: dt: the contact owns a 1994 mercury grand marquis. the contact stated that this vehicle was experiencing the same problems as mentioned in recall 05v88000. while the contact's son was driving the fuse on the scads blew out. the only way the vehicle could be started was to put it in neutral because the vehicle will not operate if the brake lights were not working. the consumer replaced the fuse, but while replacing the fuse there was smoke coming from underneath the engine. the service dealer replaced the cruise control deactivation switch. this did remedy the problem.*ak |
