| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The vehicle began idling roughly about 2 weeks ago. it has gotten progressively worse to the point where it stalls in traffic and at stop lights. it also frequently revs itself up. the service department at my dealer has told me that the throttle controller has failed and that it will cost $880 to repair. i read that there is an investigation in to the failure of this part. it seems very dangerous to me and i am concerned enough to report it as it potentially may cause the drive to lose control or the failure could cause an accident. *nm |
