Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the booster seat has a cloth cover and the belt positioner is attached to the cover by a loop that is sewn onto the cover. the cover has ripped where the loop was attached twice in the last two years (october 2004 and september 2005). the result is that the positioner comes off the cover and the safety belt then lays over the child's neck directly under his chin. the consumer believes this could cause a neck injury in the event of an accident. the consumer believes the loop sewn onto the cover is not a safe method of attaching the belt positioner. the first time the entire cover was replaced by the manufacturer under warranty. this time the consumer is responsible for replacing it (cosco 02-152-wal, hb2c,dom 12-19-03) . *ak *nm
