Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: While we were home somebody came to my apartment to tell me that the car was on fire. i went to checked if ti was true and i saw that the car was on fire. i called 911 and they responded. the fire marshall took the navigator for investigation and at the end of the month i received a call from the police dept. to pick up the report. after the investigation the fire marshall concluded that the fire was caused by mechanical defects. my other car was damaged due to a fire. the fire was started by an engine failure on the cruise control device. i saw on the news that many lincoln navigators burst into flames too and for that reason the ford company made a worldwide recall that more that 3 miilion cars that have the same defect.
