Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I bought this car on april 4, 2005 and had the torque converter and valve body replaced on april 17, 2005. hard shift into gear in the transmission and one day was driving at 50 mph and the transmission came out of gear and then went back into gear. this was very dangerous i had my 5 and 6 year old children in the car. i believe this needs recalled. i have had my car in the dealership 8 times to try to fix the issue with the transmission and the shop manager the general manager and the transmission tech tell me this car is not normal but they don't know where to start. they had a representative from chrysler come out and look at it and he deemed it normal. i am stuck and am going to have to go to the next level and file under ind. lemon law to get any resolution. this issue needs to be taken care of before someone gets hurt or even killed. *jb |
