| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: evenflo model # 3161572p1, dom 12/30/2004. this happened three to four times. nearly a five month old infant was able to unlatch the chest strap on child safety seat. the seat was rear facing ,and this occurred while the consumer was driving. the positioning clip latch simply did not hold secure enough to keep the child secure. it opened easily and without warning. the only alternative the consumer had was to buy a different seat, and to stop using this seat. this seat was recommended up to about 20 pounds, but the child weighed only 12 pounds. tried to contact evenflo but the number was busy. *ak |
