| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My hyundai 2003 xg 350 had incidents of lurching powerfully forward or backward even though my foot would be pressed hard on the brakes. it happened three times. the third time it did it, i had it in reverse with my foot on the brakes and while my wife was trying to enter the car on the passenger seat side, the car rabbit jumbed backward and cause her injuries that warranted taking her to the emergency room on september 12 2005. i searched the internet and found out that many other owners had the same exact experience and that they all had trouble convincing hyundai of the problem. if they can't duplicate the behavior then they refuse to fix the porblem. i try to duplicate the behavior and it took me about 15 tries to succeed. some internet complainers report that they succeeded in convincing the dealership of the problem and had to replace the whole transmission for them. hyunday should admit the problem and recall cars. |
