| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have had recurring problems with the engine stalling when the engine is hot. after driving for some time on an interstate, the car will stall when taken down to a lower speed- like getting off the exit ramp, or just braking to slow down for traffic. this has happened no less than 20 times in the last year. i have been fortunate to not have an accident- the car just stalls in the middle of traffic on the highway, exit ramp, or intersection. i have taken it to the dealer 3 times for the problem, and they say they cannot recreate the problem and just reset the engine timing, etc. it has happened as recently as this week. i have just read at least 24 similar complaints on this site- i had no idea it was common. the dealers should have a remedy for this by now. i am scared someone will plow into me. this is my fifth sebring convertible and now i will never buy another one. *nm |
