Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer was driving in stop and go traffic at 50-55 mph and when applying brake pressure the brakes did not work whatsoever. there were no skid marks, the consumer did not feel the vehicle was slowing down. this resulted in an accident. the consumer's vehicle struck another vehicle from behind. the consumer believed the brakes never activated. this was the first and only incident with the brakes. no previous brake failures. the vehicle sustained moderate damage. the vehicle was towed to an authorized chrysler dealership and examined it. a factory representative came and inspected the vehicle. the representative found nothing wrong with the brakes. the dealer did not perform any repairs or corrections to the brakes. the consumer contacted chrysler, and they said they found no problems, and that the consumer could hire a lawyer. the consumer did not wish to hire a lawyer but only wanted his family to be safe in this vehicle. *ak
