Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2000 pontiac grand prix has had two failures of the pressure control solenoid and the corresponding valve body, causing my car to unexpectedly surge when accelerating. the dealership kept both old parts, but this seems to be happening to many people so it shouldn't be hard to find one. both repairs were covered under warranties. the first one was replaced at 32,000 miles, and the second at 73,000 miles. i hope no one has an accident when this happens, i know i almost did, the first time it happened i was so surprised i nearly ran into another car.*jb |
