Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I was driving on a four lane interstate in cruise control going 70 mph. suddenly i was going down the highway sideways. i slid off the road and hit a highway sign which slowed me and must have jarred something because then i could use my brakes and all four of them seemed to work. i smashed the drivers side door and rocker panel and other damage, probably bent the rim on a tire, had cuts on both hands and had to take my dogs and cat to the vet as they were in shock. i was about 130 to 150 miles from home and thanks to friends was able to get home that evening. the chevrolet dealership i had it towed to, said they could find no reason for the rear wheels to lock. but according to the dps officer that is what they seemed to do. *nm
