Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: while driving with cargo trailer in tow the spring eye bolt that is connected to the suspension system underneath the trailer on the rear right axle came loose. there was a self tightening or keeper bolt that simply worked loose. luckily, the consumer was turning into a parking lot when this occurred. this was the first and only incident. the cargo trailer was purchased new on september 8, 2005. there have been no other problems with the trailer. the trailer has not been to the dealer as of yet because the consumer was in the middle of a long distance trip. the consumer took the trailer to a local independent trailer sales place and the dealer inspected the trailer. the dealer replaced the bolt, but did not know how this could have happened. the bolt showed signs of wear. the consumer contacted the trailer manufacturer, who told the consumer to send the bill for the repairs and they would cover the charges. this cargo trailer attached to a pickup truck, manufacturer was 2005 road master, model rme 714ta2, and date of manufacturing was 9-30-04. *ak (11/08/05) *sc
