| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: 2005 viking legend. the consumer received nhtsa recall 05v364000 concerning roof and pillars failure on august 20, 2005. the letter stated the vehicle should be taken to dealer within 10 days. the vehicle was taken to the dealership where it was purchased. they knew nothing of the recall. once they were informed of the recall the consumer was told the part was on order. now the part was not on order, but, a prop was being sent until the part could be obtained. she found this out this morning when she called to check the status of the part. *ak the consumer was told the part was being manufactured and would take 6-8 weeks. *jb |
