Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Hello - i have a 2005 odyssey that might have and others might have potential safety issues. a while back i found a loose bolt in the drivers side sliding door and another bolt that was not tightened at the factory. i am concerned that this represents a serious quality control breakdown. while my problem was addressed, since then i have had numerous other issues and in the process of filing a lemon law complaint as a result of repeated attempts to fix my vehicle. my concern is also that my dealership told me they have found six other vehicles with loose bolts in the car. if someone is in a position to do this, what else would this person potentially have done to this vehicle and others. this makes me wonder if someone at the factory was doing this as a joke or if there are other potential safety issues related to this finding. in addition to this, i have had multiple problems with the dvd/navigation system and the rear camera often stays on while moving forward. this is quite a distraction to the driver. i have been working these issues with honda customer care for the last 5 weeks with no progress. also, this vehicle has been in five times to have this looked at. i continue to have problems with this vehicle. while it was in having the dvd/nav problem looked and the rear view mirror fixed (fell off while driving down the interstate), three additional recalls were found. also, the rear view mirror could not be fixed and the windshield was replaced. had to bring it back in the following day since it was not installed correctly (had wind noise). this issue was fixed. i am now on vacation and the windshield washers stopped working. the problems that continue to mount up on this vehicle make me question its overall safety and road worthiness. *jb |
