Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: My srs light came on in my 2001 honda accord has been on for about 2 weeks now and i went to go get it checked out. the dealer told me an attachment to the airbag and horn(doesn't work) would have to be replaced which he says would cost me $1000. i advised him not to fix the problem. although, the same time the srs light came on my engine light has been on as well for the same amount of time. i had a friend advised me of complaints on the web of the srs light coming on in most 2001 honda accords. i looked into it and saw too many complaints about this but nothing has been done about it. there has been no recall regarding it and that may cost someone their live because of it. from what i'm reading on these reviews of the srs light it seems as though there will be no failure of the airbag but that's not what the manual says regarding the light. it states if the light comes on and stays on it may not deploy when needed for an accident. if that's the case then why is honda risking people's lives and not fixing this problem! you can take money out someone's pocket but they won't have their live back! do something! *nm
