Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Mitsubishi motors will not accept liability and pay to have a failure of a factory weld repaired on the right front engine cross member of my 2003 mitsubishi montero which is still under the factory warranty. my insurance adjuster has submitted a letter informing mitsubishi's vehicle department that the damage to my vehicle is due to failure from improper welding. i have also been informed by a certified body shop that the part was not welded properly. mitsubishi has refused to participate in repairing the vehicle since august 12, 2005. *jb
