Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact owns a 2001 chevrolet suburban. while driving on the highway on september 15, 2005 vehicle the fuel module melted wires that tripped the circuit breaker which shut the car off. the failure occurred under the hood. no crash reported. vehicle did go into other lanes. *ak a recall was issued for the fuel module but the recall kit was not available. the dealer replaced the old faulty module with a new faulty module which mean that the consumer's vehicle could stall again. the dealer doesn't know when the recall kit will arrive. *nm
