| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the right front passenger's side tie rod end completely separated while driving about 10 mph. this happened without any prior warning or problems. this was the first incident. there was a loss of steering. the consumer was able to avoid a crash due to the low speed. the consumer took the vehicle to an independent service repair shop who offered no explanation as to why this could have occurred. the service dealer noted there was some play within the ball joints. the consumer called the dealer who said this was normal. the tie rod end was replaced with no further problems. *ak |
