| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I drove with at a very low speed (about 22 mph), when the frame of my brand new triumph speed triple (2 months old, driven about 1,300 miles) broke parallel on both sides. i lost control over the bike and crashed into a bus. i was seriously injured (broken scapula, torn ligament at the left foot) and still under medical treatment, after 4 months! an expertise revealed that the frame definitely broke before the accident! triumph pretends that this is the first case of a broken frame - i got notice of another frame incident last month in germany where the frame broke at exactly the same place. my bike is totaled and triumph is not willing to pay for anything!*jb |
