| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer purchased a used 2001 lincoln town car that has a problem with the right front passenger seat. the consumer does not know if the vehicle was purchased with this problem or not because no one had sat in the passenger seat until now. there is a looseness that allows the seat to move about freely while being seated. this happens at its own free will, no power assist or manual movement necessary. the consumer is concerned because there is a passenger side airbag. the consumer took the vehicle to the dealer. the dealer said there was nothing they could do about the seat, and could not offer any explanation as to why this problem may have occurred. no repairs or corrections have been made on the vehicle at this time. the consumer has not contacted the manufacturer. *ak *nm |
