Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: (1) my 1995 plymouth voyager has a defective clockspring assembly causing the horn to not work and the air bag to be disabled. there is a recall on the 1996 plymouth voyager (ref nhtsa campaign id number : 02v293000) for this exact problem, but i am told that i must pay a chrysler dealer approximately $100 diagnosis fee in order for chrysler to consider offering assistance. i do not mind paying $100 diagnosis fee if i am guaranteed to get the money back when they tell me that the clockspring is definitely the problem. all i want is to get the part for free and i'll install it myself. (2) no consequences yet. (3) the problem has not been repaired - awaiting chrysler help. *jb |
