Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving home on interstate 285 in traffic i heard a loud pop in my left ear and my seat belt tightened to an unbearable tightness. my car filled with a powdery like substance and that's when i realized that my side curtain and seat airbags had deployed. there was nothing in the highway that i could have hit. my car was drivable and i pulled over to see if there was any damage. there was no damage so i called the dealership and took it in. they did a visual inspection and could find no reason why the air bags should have deployed. they said they would have to keep the car over night so that they could look at it more closely. the next day i called to check the status of my car and at that time i was informed that they could not find any damage to my car but they needed to continue looking. 15 minutes later i received a phone call stating that they had found a small scratch on the bottom of my car and that was the cause of my airbags deploying. i am insisting that i did not hit anything because the highway was clear at the time. am i getting the run around from honda? is this normal? *jb |
