| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: dt: contact owns a 1999 chevrolet tahoe. while applying the brakes as he was entering the garage the brakes would not work. the pedal went almost to the floor but would not stop the vehicle so he put the vehicle into park. he did not have time to apply the emergency brake. there were no warnings indicating that there was a problem with the brakes. thiswas the first time that there have been problems with the brakes. recall 05v379000 for the 2000-2002 models was issued, but not on the 1999 model. the dealership and the manufacturer said that this vehicle was not included in the recall. the contact stated that there was a recall for the 1999 chevrolet tahoe, and this vehicle was identical to the 1999 chevrolet tahoe.*ak |
