Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1. normal everyday driving. 2. radiator/condenser cooling fan burnt up; could smell electrical components and saw smoke coming from fan unit. blew 30a fuse and smoke/smell stopped. a/c quit working due to fan quitting and fuse blowing. i was on my way back to dallas texas from georgia when this blew. luckily the car kept running on one of the two fans, and it was at night when it wasn't so hot! had to replace dual cooling fan unit. 3. replaced dual cooling fan unit and 30a fuse. $300.00 repair done by myself since the car is not in warranty. *jb |
