Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2002 honda accord ex. i recently saw a report about 2000-2001 accord passenger air bag light problems. i believe it also affects the 2002 model. my passenger air bag light f lashes on the dashboard from events such as my dog sitting near the passenger door or my throwing a purse or bag down on the seat. this has occurred since owning the car when it was new. the honda dealership said they find nothing wrong and that the code clears itself after i turn my car off so they have no information to work with. they claim there is no safety problem when it occurs and that i am causing the problem because of improper usage of the passenger seat, i.e., my actions trigger the air bag light coming on which they claim is meaningless. i stopped complaining since they said there is no safety problem associated with this. *jb |
