Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While having a new battery installed on our 1998 plymouth voyager, we were shown that the strut tower is rusting and cracked on the top. subsequent examination by other mechanics shows that the rusting started in the top plate and worked its way down to the second plate, which is not as bad. the comment we keep hearing a lot of is, " i've never seen anything like this." yet one of our neighbors who has the dodge version, same year, also has the same problem. i am wondering if you have heard of anything like this with these vans and/or if this could be a problem with them that is just showing up now. *jb |
