Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2001 navigator caught fire in my driveway on 10/06/05. my car is a total loss. i did not know about the cruise control switch being recalled until the fire dept told me that the fire was electrical and there was a ford recall. i have some damage to my house as well. my garage door is melted and the frame is warped. ford needs to make this right. i received my recall letter the day after the fire. i have the envelope with the 10/04/05 postmark. do i have any ground to stand on with ford, now i have to come up with 3,000 for a down payment on a car and i don't have it. so i went from a 30,400 car to being careless. that is not right. *nm |
