| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt consumer states that on august 20, 2005 the vehicle completely came to a stop while going at 40 mph, the vehicle lost power. consumer had ittowed to the dealer . they said the cam shaft cracked and broke, and there was metal flying in the engine. the vehicle would turn over, but would not start. there was no forewarning prior to this incident. the dealer said this was a common problem. the engine was known to be a sludge builder whether highway or city driving. consumer contacted the manufacturer, they said there was no problem with the engine. *ak |
