| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated that the 1999 chevrolet suburban was having abs brake problems. the abs was engaging at low speeds of 5-6 mph. . the problem continually got worse. the contact lived in one of the salt belt states which was not included in nhtsa recall 05v379000. the vehicle was taken to the dealership twice for this problem and to an independent repair shop once time. the estimated cost for repair was $497.90 per side of the vehicle. the written diagnosis was that the front wheel speed sensor dropped out at low speeds. the contact planned on having repairs done. the contact contacted gm, and they said, that the vehicle was not included in the recall at this time.*ak |
