Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The gas gauge does not work once the amount of gas is below half a tank, this occurs in many other gmc jimmys in the 2000 model year, i have researched this online and found many complaints about this, yet no recall. the gas needle either sticks, bounces around or shows a full tank when empty, this makes it very difficult to determine if there is enough gas to get to where you need to go and causes people to run out of gas while on the road. *jb |
