Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact states he owns a 2001 pontiac grand prix. the transmission does not shift correctly. the contact states this is due to the catalytic converter malfunctioning. the contact states he received a notice in the mail 9-05. this notice is not a recall notice. the notice states there could be a problem with the catalytic converter. he called the dealership and the dealer told him that transmission not shifting correctly was not a sign of the catalytic converter going bad. he also called pontiac, and filed a complaint on 10-10-05. the file number is 1-367-660-427. *ak
