Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Left wheel bearing on my 2004 ram 2500 truck has been replaced 8 times. the failure occurs under normal driving conditions. two dealerships have worked on the problem but they have not been able to correct the malfunction. the seal of the wheel bearing has been broken every time. the first incident occured shortly after i purchased the truck. mileage was approximately 2200 miles. recently, the last four times, the seal was broken approximately every 3000 miles. dodge dealership (arrigo dodge, west palm beach, florida) claims that chrysler will not authorize them to repair additional parts (spindles, front end, etc.), however, a chrysler representative has stated that the dealership has the authority to make any repairs that need to be done. dealership claims that this is the first time that a vehicle has been brought in with this type of repair. |
