| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: evenflo triumph model # 264196x1, dom 02/11/2002. the consumer noticed on january 1, 2005 that there were two meal rings that look like key chain rings. consumer contacted evenflo, and there was a recall, and the recall repairs was done to the child safety btu the consumer was never notified of the repair when the seat was purchased. the retailer put a sticker over the date of manufacture and gave it a new sticker since the recall work had been done. however, the recall repairs were done improperly. the consumer learned since the recall that the manufacturer gave the stores the fixed kit for the recalls and gave them new stickers to add to the seat *ak. updated 12/14/2005. *nm |
